Indie rock legends The Libertines delighted fans with an up-close and personal performance at Assai Records in the city center. The duo, Pete Doherty and Carl Barât, treated a small audience to a 45-minute set of their greatest hits, including classics like “Don’t Look Back into the Sun” and “Can’t Stand Me Now.”
Known for their tumultuous history and chart-topping success in the early 2000s, The Libertines have recently reunited and released a new album, “All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade.” Despite their past conflicts, Doherty and Barât put on a united front on stage, showcasing their musical chemistry and undeniable talent.
