The Wheels & Thrills event, organized by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT), is set to take place on October 20th from 11am to 4pm at Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station. Families can look forward to a day filled with exciting activities and entertainment suitable for all ages.
Attendees will have the chance to enjoy face painting, balloon modelling, arts and crafts, model displays, and even witness a stilt walker in action. The event aims to provide a fun and engaging experience for everyone involved.
In addition to these activities, the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust will be present at the event with a display of vintage vehicles and models. Families will also have the unique opportunity to take a ride on a vintage bus, adding a touch of nostalgia to the day’s festivities.
Stephen Dornan, chair of SPT, expressed his excitement for the upcoming event, stating, “This promises to be a fun day out for all the family. Colleagues at Buchanan Bus Station have been working hard to plan this event, and we are eager to welcome visitors to the station to admire the vintage buses that once graced the streets of Glasgow.”
