TRNSMT Festival Rocks Glasgow with Exciting Stage Line-Up Change

Excitement is brewing in Glasgow as TRNSMT Festival unveils a major change to its stage line-up for this year’s highly anticipated event. The festival organisers have just announced that Radio 1 Dance will be taking over the beloved Boogie Bar at the summer festival, set to enthrall attendees from July 11 to 13.

BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage Takes Over TRNSMT

The newly minted BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage will be a focal point throughout the weekend, featuring a lineup of 18 dynamic dance acts that promise to electrify the already star-studded TRNSMT roster. From headliners like 50 Cent, Biffy Clyro, Fontaines D.C, and Gracie Abrams to the newly added dance performers, the festival is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all genres.

A Diverse Array of Dance Acts to Rock the Stage

On Friday, festival-goers can look forward to high-energy sets from Jaguar and Scotland’s own La La, alongside talents like Connor Coates, Big Miz, MARIANNE, and Frankie Elyse. Saturday will see the stage pulsating with performances by Nimino, Hayley Zalassi, and Arielle Free, while Hannah Opgaard, Dominique, and EVA will also grace the lineup. Closing out the Radio 1 Dance stage on a high note will be Irish dance-pop sensation JAZZY, following stellar performances by BETH and the charismatic host of Radio 1’s Dance Anthems, Charlie Hedges.

Geoff Ellis, TRNSMT festival director, shared his enthusiasm for the festival’s evolution, stating, “This year’s lineup just got even bigger with the addition of 18 trailblazers, set to showcase some of the electronic music scene on the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage.” He emphasized the unique blend of international DJs and homegrown British talent that will create an electrifying atmosphere for festival attendees.
