A new retailer has opened in East Kilbride, promising to offer the best value for customers. Jollyes, a pet brand, has added a new shop at the town’s Kingsgate Retail Park to its 100-plus UK stores. The store opened at 10 am on Saturday, November 30, in a special ceremony accompanied by a piper for St Andrew’s Day.
Customers visiting the new store will have the opportunity to shop Jollyes’ raw food frozen ‘shop-in-shop’. Additionally, later this year, community pet clinics will offer unbeatable prices for vet services such as microchipping and vaccinations. Corrie, an Alsatian who served for six years with Police Scotland until retirement, will be present to open the store. Corrie, like many other former service dogs, is being supported by the National Federation of Retired Service Animals (NFRSA).
NFRSA is a key charity partner for Jollyes, helping to support the care, well-being, and welfare of retired service animals from various emergency services. Over the next 12 months, all Jollyes stores will be raising money for NFRSA, with collections matched by Jollyes up to £20,000 to support retired service animals and their owners.
East Kilbride is one of three stores opening over a fortnight, with stores in Leyland, Lancashire, and Cardiff, Wales also opening. Joe Wykes, Jollyes’ chief executive officer, expressed the company’s commitment to providing the best value for pet parents. He highlighted the hard work put into lowering costs and ensuring competitive prices, while also emphasizing the importance of service and expertise provided by Jollyes’ staff in-store.
Wykes is excited to introduce new shoppers in Leyland, East Kilbride, and Cardiff to what Jollyes has to offer. He believes that the savings and quality service provided by Jollyes will make a positive impact in these communities, similar to the experience in over 100 other locations across the UK.
