Rangers are set to make a comeback for pre-season training on June 23, according to Nicolas Raskin. The Gers’ players will have a break of just over a month after their season-ending draw with Hibs at Easter Road. They will return on the Monday towards the end of next month to kickstart preparations for the second qualifying round of the Champions League.

Getting a head start on training is crucial for the team, with the first leg of the Champions League qualifiers scheduled for July 22 or 23, followed by the second leg a week later. The draw for the qualifiers will take place on June 18. The Scottish Premiership campaign is set to commence on the weekend of August 2 and 3, and Rangers are aiming for a more successful season than the previous one.

Raskin disclosed the return date while discussing the US takeover and the future plans for the club. The uncertainty lingers over who will take on the role of the Rangers manager, with Davide Ancelotti being a strong contender. However, other names are also in the mix for the position. Interim manager Barry Ferguson remains hopeful of securing the job permanently and is ready to tackle the challenges that come with it.
