A Magical Experience for All
Margaret Cowan, group operations manager for the carnival, expressed her excitement for this year’s event, stating, “Everyone knows the festive season in Glasgow isn’t complete without a visit to the Irn-Bru Carnival. To kick off the launch, the Irn-Bru Carnival organizers welcomed the stars of the Wizard of Oz pantomime, set to grace the SEC over the festive period. Characters like Dorothy, Aunty Em, the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Lion all enjoyed the rides, adding to the festive spirit of the event.
Emily Barnes, who portrays Dorothy in the Theatre School of Scotland’s production, shared her delight, saying, “We’ve loved getting to take some time out from performances and enjoy the Irn-Bru Carnival. My favorite was the waltzer for sure, but there are so many thrilling rides for everyone to enjoy.”
