Investigation into Glasgow-born Man’s Murder Intensifies
Northumbria Police have confirmed the identity of a Glasgow-born man who tragically lost his life in a suspected assault in North Tyneside. The victim, identified as John Smyth, 63, originally from Glasgow but residing in the Derby area, was found with serious injuries consistent with an assault on Holly Avenue in the Wallsend area of England.
The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
