A hit Broadway and West End musical, Calamity Jane, is making its way to Glasgow’s King’s Theatre next summer. The production is scheduled to run from Tuesday to Saturday, July 1 to 5, offering audiences a chance to experience the magic of live theater in the heart of the city.
The full cast for the UK and Ireland tour has been revealed, with multi-award-winning West End star Carrie Hope Fletcher taking on the lead role of Calamity Jane. Known for her stellar performances in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella, Heathers, The Addams Family, and Les Misérables, Carrie is set to bring her talent and charisma to the stage once again. With a massive social media following of over 635,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, she is sure to draw a crowd eager to see her in action.
Joining Carrie on stage will be a talented ensemble, including Vinny Coyle as Wild Bill Hickock, Luke Wilson as Danny, Seren Sandham-Davies as Katie Brown, and Peter Peverley as Henry Miller. The cast is rounded out by a stellar lineup of performers, each bringing their unique energy and skill to the production.
