From arts and culture to sports, food and drink to music festivals, historical exhibitions to community-led events, Glasgow 850 promises a diverse and exciting lineup.

**Signature Events to Look Forward To**

Among the highlights are the Clyde Chorus musical event along the river from May 29 to 30, the People’s Palace Pop-Up exhibition touring communities from June to November, and Taste the Place in April, featuring free self-guided experiences celebrating Glasgow’s vibrant food scene. The Glasgow 850 Festival Fund will enhance established city events, with special highlights like the Gray Matters comedy event and Glasgow Film Festival’s community takeover days offering free cinema experiences.

**Community Involvement and Support**

July will see events celebrating St Teneu, the mother of St Mungo, Glasgow’s patron saint, while October will honor Glasgow’s Gaelic heritage. During the summer, Glasgow 850 will support Glasgow Life’s Summer of Fun activities for young people during the school holidays. First Bus’s support as Clyde Chorus’ official travel partner is also crucial, with a bright pink First Bus commissioned for service throughout the year.
